I recently secured a storage unit at this Extra Space Storage location to house a large aquarium that needed to be stored dry, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The owner went well beyond simply showing available units—he helped us take precise measurements and offered thoughtful tips for our movers to safely transport and position such a unique item. His attentiveness and willingness to engage with the specifics of our situation were truly appreciated. Throughout our time using the unit, we had absolutely no issues. The facility was consistently clean, well maintained, and exceptionally easy to access, which made the entire process smooth and stress‑free. The level of service, combined with the flexibility to accommodate our unusual storage needs, left a lasting impression. I would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking a well‑run facility with management that clearly cares about its customers and their individual needs.

I have rented at the Mearns Rd. facility for quite a while, including under previous ownership. The 5'x15' unit itself seems fine--no pests, easy to access. The hours and location are convenient. Management has always been very pleasant and helpful though there were some mail-receipt problems years ago under previous ownership. In general, watch out for demand pricing at storage facilities, and for how often they raise their prices for established customers. I would recommend this facility.

Extra Space Storage has been a fantastic and easy experience for me. I have been with them now for five years and never had an issue. When I moved in the storage spot I rent was immaculate. Every time I come to the facility the lot is always clean and well kept. If there is anything they need to fix near my unit they always call and warn me first. (I've had not had that before at other places.) When speaking to anyone in the office I'm always met with a cheerful disposition and how can we help you. When a friend or family members mention needing a storage space I always recommend Extra Space Storage on Mearns Road. You will not find a better place!

Extra Space Storage was a great solution when we needed to find a way to quickly clear out a family members home and store her possessions while we decided what to keep. The size was right and the space is clean and easy to get in and out. The staff are very helpful.
