I've rented several unit here for several years, I was never really happy with the way the place was managed but other than that it was great. No break ins or stolen stuff but the gate would get left open quite often during the night, I assume it was just broke as the gate wouldn't open for me a couple times which is rather frustrating. BUT the new owners or management company or whatever they are have been amazing, it isn't a pain to pay my bill anymore and the gate stays closed at night. Let's just hope they replace that dinosaur of a gate motor and tighten the chain. Would recommend

This place has been nothing but problems. After unloading into our unit we found our lock wouldn't fit. It was late nothing was open. 10:07am the next day we get a text w a pic of our unit saying we needed a lock. At 10:30 I replied explaining we had bought the wrong size and would be getting fixed today. I also received an email which I replied to also. 2pm we arrive to find a lock on our unit that had not been mentioned in the txt or email. I text and emailed that we put our lock and please remove the lock they put on. 3 weeks later and its still there. I have text, emailed and called several times. I am being told a work order was submitted. This place is not locally ran, the phones are answered overseas. Very unprofessional, rude and could careless that they have inconvenience us. They have ignored the email I sent with a copy of my renters insurance policy, they are trying to charge me for their insurance now. First you steal my property and now you want to charge more to steal it.

Dont go here for storage. At least A Mini storage would work with you if you couldn't pay on the due date. These people still want to charge all kinds of late fees. Worst Storage Place Ever!!!!!

The on-site manager was Melissa and she and Mary Ann are the best storage managers I’ve ever had. They both took care of any issue I had very quickly. They helped me with gate codes and office problems. However the office does not process your insurance so if you purchase your own they will still charge you for their insurance as well. They still owe me for two months of insurance they charged. I haven’t rented from a KO storage since.

Update 2025/09/16 - In 2024 my rental price jumped to over $150 a month with all of the same issues happening (my rental started under $80 a month), the gate only worked half the time. The washout on the far north west corner to turn by the last row was never repaired even though the owner posted on my review it was being repaired. I showed the wash out that was creating a hole under the front of my unit to multiple managers on site and it was never repaired. I moved out to a rental unit up the road that is fully paved and has 24/7 staffing for $50 a month cheaper. I will not be back to KO storage, and I will not recommend them to any of my friends or neighbors in the area. Old - I currently rent a storage unit here and if you are looking for a rental, please do not use this place. in the last 12 months rental for my unit has increase 3 times, this last time on 05/01/2023, we were not even notified of the rental increase. In 12 months my rental unit is now $36 more than was I was previously paying when it was under different ownership. The facility itself has been broken into on multiple occasions. On one occasion my unit was broken into and we found out the security system at the facility is not fully functional. The gravel roadways are washed out in areas and multiple people have had trailers slip off or become stuck. My family is in the process of trying to find another storage facility. Do not use KO.
