Facility Overview & What to Expect
Verified Customer Reviews
I had a pretty good experience renting here. I had a 5x5 unit for $10 a month for a year (the price increased to $40 as of 1 July 2024). The units are all indoors and temperature controlled, which is great for doing any moving in high or low temps or bad weather. They gave me a unique security code to enter and exit the building. They provided me with a new, unopened lock and 2 keys for free. The aisles are as clean as they can be for a building cars regularly drive through. There was an incident where 1 overhead door was broken by a customer running into it, so when I was moving my things out this past month I had to pull in, load my car, and reverse out but that wasn't a huge deal. The door was fixed in about 3 weeks, which only took so long due to having to order parts and wait for them to arrive. The one downside is there are no employees on site so if you do need help, you have to use the kiosk or call, though I recently got an email that the kiosks are being removed and they will just have QR codes to their customer support website I guess. However, any time I emailed them I got a response vety quickly so I never really had issues. Still, they're cheaper than just about anywhere else and indoors which is more than most can say. My stuff was never tampered with and I never saw any insects like other customers have claimed.
Stay far far away from this place. You'll see lots of 5 star reviews but you'll notice they are all 2+ years ago. This is because they are now remotely managed, and managed is strong word. We signed up for a unit online and when we got there our unit was still locked up. I called the normal number and emergency number multiple times over a span of a few days with no response. No one was in the office during office hours. We called the national line and they couldn't even get the lock combination. So after ~1 week and probably 5 hours wasted driving there multiple times and being stuck on the phone we still never got access to our unit and had to battle with national phone line to cancel and refund us. Would give 0 stars if it were an option.
There’s a reason they are the cheapest in town! Continuous problems with their system not working, so neither does your entry code. As I write this, the entry lift gate/door that allows pulling your car in has been inoperable for going on 2 weeks now, making moving a nightmare. The place is rarely cleaned, trash in the aisles and bathrooms stay filthy. I have seen dead roaches in various places, and they have rat traps all over the place. Someone told me they were almost stranded inside overnight due to system malfunction and the exit gate not lifting, allowing them to drive out. Customer service didn’t help but thankfully another customer came and finagled the system somehow. When you call the owners, they take their time responding when the system won’t allow you in or out. And you have to call the owners because customer service will not help you and will leave you stranded inside (or out). Oh, and need I even mention the people on drugs found living in the units? Rent at your own risk and leave nothing there you may need, you may not be able to access it when you need to. Photos are of different occasions. Yes, that is a roach on the floor in the one photo.
The woman that helped us was very knowledgeable and patient with us as we navigated through the policies and procedures. The storage unit was clean, and the lock easy to use!
They continue to go up on pricing and customer service is horrible. No one gave me a credit for the mold issue but I see others were. I will be looking for other solutions for storage needs
