After going to 1/2 dozen different storage facilities in the area, I found Route 1 self storage, and I am glad I did. The staff is outstanding. Extremely helpful and friendly. The storage unit was clean and in good shape. I will definitely use Route 1 Self-Storage again. Thank you to the entire staff!

Linda and her team offer great service. I mistakenly left my unit unlocked and, within a few hours, she emailed me and let me know. When I was able to return a few days later, everything was exactly as I left it. This level of security and personal service is wonderful. Where so many things are automated, it is nice to have a facility that still values a personal touch and attention to detail and high levels of customer service. Highly recommended.

We have had our unit/s here for 12 years because after researching others we have found this to be the best storage facility in this area. Not only is the location great, off of Route 1, but the units are secure, clean and allow for easy ground level access. They offer various sizes, as well as heated units and the prices are very good. When we moved we secured a 10x10 unit only to find out we needed a larger one. Linda and staff were beyond helpful offering us options to meet our needs. Great customer service!!! Wouldn’t go elsewhere.

Clean, dry, storage unit and immensely kind and helpful people to do business with. Highly recommend. The online payment system is a breeze, and I never worried about the safety of my belongings, which is invaluable. If I had anything to suggest it would be 24 hr access and a gutter system to shield from melting snow runoff as you move your belongings in and out of the space!

Rare find....wonderful experience! Ok, it's only storage, right? Many people, like me, need it when moving....which can be a stressful time. 1st, I actually reserved a unit online... it's a very tight market and not many storage units available. I selected a larger size, but a smaller one populated when I went to reserve. I knew this meant they only had the smaller one available. I quickly reserved for a $25 fee which they use for the first month's rent. I'm swamped the next day and forget to call, but no worries as they called me! Folksy, down home type of people.....family owned business....love that! THEY CARE!!! We quickly set it up and they emailed me documents. I went in the next day and signed and set up recurring payment. Good value for the price. So, you walk in to a like new facility....looks like they renovated or built this recently. And the kindness and folksiness continues....they make you so at ease. Weeks later they even asked about my 85 yo mom....they remembered! The process was a breeze. They walk you to your unit and tell you additional details. Very clean, like I said, like new or it is new. I need a larger space and they stay in contact with me. They just called me yesterday with an available unit....they are on top of things! By the way, good access too to my drive up unit....good hours. This company is the best of the best in business and how a company should be run, but many times isn't....especially small family owned businesses. Keep up the good work! Thank you for making this experience so easy and pleasant!
