I book a storage unit with Extra Space and in the beginning, they offered me a good price and with a discounted offer where I needed pay in advance for 3 initial months and I did so. I am out of the country at the moment and all of a sudden, they increased the monthly rent by 3x and when I called and asked them and they just said this is an annual price increase disregarding the discount that I initially got, and they even told me that the price will not increase. If they tell you anything like that do not believe them but get it in writing. This is terrible to do to a customer to increase the price of all of a sudden so high from the initial agreed upon where the customer is not in States at the moment and stuck with them :(
