first time renter here, even tho it's a self service location, booking and paying was done easily , Maibel was great help over the phone with setting up the account and choosing the right size unit, even gave me the gate access code right away, seems like a good place to store one's stuff. better than public storage for sure, hopefully will remain a tenant [customer] for years to come.

My experience with KO Storage has been excellent! I rent in Brownsburg IN. The management team is very good to work with, and customer service is always helpful, efficient and friendly. Their is a part time employee on staff till noon, unless his hours increased, and he is also a delightful person. I have greatest respect these days, for a company where the system and the people in it functions normally, like a good business, a professional business, a business that prioritizes care of its customers; you can't expect that anymore. What used to be predictable good business practice is now the exception, not the rule. And so, when you find the rare treasure working well, you reciprocate, by writing glowing, well deserved and earned reviews, gladly paying your bills on time, treating the company, in this case, KO Storage with mutual, logical and kind heartfelt respect. Very pleased with their service! I've experienced bad storage service in the past, and by contrast, KO Storage has been the best, magnificently outperforming all competitors, and that's how loyalty happens.

Update:I was contacted and able to sort out entry to my other unit. Autumn was very personable and professional. She was able to let me know when she would be available and was kind of being called in to cover this new area for now. I was able to communicate with her and get things sorted out. I appreciate her willingness to work with me. All in all sticking with the 5 star review- as this management company has been in timely-ish contact with me... by phone vs only emails. And I was able to just place my new lock, so when they were able to arrive... I was good to go :-) 5 stars for the gentleman on the phone who helped me. We spent 25 minutes sorting out the (3rd) new contract and auto pay. 4 stars for being able to get into my units in spite of the change in management/ownership. 3 stars for expiring links that kept me from managing online, and while my information was ported over, I could not set up a new sign in.... probably because "expired". 2 stars for not answering the phone during posted business hours, and for keeping me on hold with some scary horror movie elevator music for 5 minutes at my "call back when an agent is available without losing your place in line..." before I hung up- as I apparently answered into a hold status :( 1 star for not being able to get into my 2nd unit.... I was going to build a bed, but 2 essential pieces are in there :=(... (I will concede that I am in favor of security, as long as we sort it out without loss of property). When I started this rental, it was 24 hour access with manned office hours. Then it went under new management, and no office hours, and limited hours of access.... I miss people being part of doing business *sigh* Again, the gentleman on the phone was pleasant, professional, and thorough. He definitely made sure I had all of my questions answered, and is helping me get back into unit #2 (I hope). I am sorry I didn't get to talk to him first ;-)!
