Extra Space Storage - 8469 - Griffin - Express Way

I rented a storage unit at the facility in Griifin, GA, and it was disgusting. While the unit is climate controlled, the photos will clearly show that the HVAC system is not maintained at this location—at least not in the section my unit was located. I rented the unit (#138) but never moved my stuff in because I did not want mold/mildew circulating around my furniture. The after hours/emergency number was never answered, but the staff I dealt with over the phone after cancelling the rental was very friendly. I will say that there was another section of the massive warehouse that had a clean unit (#168) but very scratched up floor. Scratches I can live with—moldy vents, absolutely not! This also caused me to have to keep the UHaul longer than planned. The unit my daughter rented in Atlanta at the Druid Hills location was spotless, and the staff incredibly nice and helpful. I was moving the furniture from the Druid Hills location to what I thought would be the Griffin location. However, I went with a different company altogether. I would give the Druid Hills location five stars, but Griifn only gets two.

I rented my space online yesterday and had to go to the store and Shenera was amazing. She helped me to my space and showed me how to use the code and even downloaded the app for me to get in easier.
