**THEY NEVER PLOW** They just let the cars pack it down until it's a sheet of ice. Really!? Need to drag anything out of your unit? Plan on shoveling out the front of your unit. Wanna broken leg, arm, or other bodily injury? Walk only a few steps in either direction and pray you have good footing and balance. We are not talking a dusting of snow folks, we are talking plowable snow that they do absolutely nothing with. I would imagine maintenance is included in rental fees so paying for maintenance that doesn't get done? It's a huge safety and liability issue not to mention a huge inconvenience. These photos were taken several days after a storm. Ridiculous.

The customer service at this location is outstanding. When I was looking at my options for long-term rental, both managers were extremely helpful and insightful. They made my ultimate decision much easier and with confidence. I recently had trouble shutting and locking my unit because of the ice built up, and Diane came driving over with a shovel to assist me. While we couldn't completely secure the unit that evening, she assured me she'd de-ice the rest the next day (when it was warmer.) Not only did she de-ice and secure my unit for me, she called me to follow-up just as she promised. I consult businesses on service and culture for a living, so I have high expectations. Storage Rentals of America (at least at their Simsbury location) exceeded those expectations.

Dianne was absolutely awesome in placing me in a hard-to- 10 by 20 unit. She shoveled the snow in front of the unit prior to my arriving. All with a smile. And Jason lent some good support throughout the process. Great personalities and very friendly.

I needed more room to store Halloween/Christmas decorations. After looking around, I was very pleased with their prices for a climate controlled unit. Especially compared to the cost of other facilities in the area. The office staff was very helpful and friendly. I’m happy to have the extra room…so I can keep shopping.
