Matthew was great! I rented a unit online and I didn't like the location when I got there and requested to relocate. He said no problem and showed me my options and gave me the new rates. He walked me out to see the new unit and he did all of the new paperwork very quick. I was in and out in no time. He was very friendly and pleasant. The unit itself works great for me.

I am taking the time to write this glowing review because I am beyond grateful for Richelle (Hemet, Ca.) and the wonderful customer service she has given me! I am an existing customer (2+ years) and needed to lease a few additional units this month (in addition to the existing units I lease with extraspace) for my needs. A technical snafu with my online reservation had sidelined my entire day & schedule (Note: extraspace tech people please debug the the whole "7 digit" confirmation code + email combination process for reservations, thank you!). I could not get passed the "digital" gates for my own reservation! What's the point of the convenience of online reservation if the system cannot confirm it exists? This elevated my frustration levels to a magnitude. The solution? Well, I was graced by higher power to connect with Richelle at the Hemet, California ExtraSpace location. Guess what? Richelle greeted me with optimisim & hope. She kept it simple & straight-forward and rolled up her sleeves for some good ol' fashioned "one-on-one" customer service. Person-to-person. No automation, no A.I., no phone trees, no answer machines, no digital gatekeeping...just simply 2 human beings working together towards a solution. I want to express how important that is today's tech-centric world that is perpetually in overdrive. We tend to lose the human connection in the binary fog. So, how did this end? Well, the tech issues befallen upon me would have taken at best hours upon hours perhaps even days if I were to pursue a "digital" solution. With Richelle, it took no more than 10 minutes. At that's mainly because she was patient, full of optimism and kept it simple. Richelle, a BIG hug and a BIG thank you. Keep up the great work. And yes, you indeed made my day as well. Cheers!
