I was surprised at how easy it was to rent a storage unit a/out “human” assistance. My only feedback is that the website isn’t so user friendly. Try & rent a unit so you can see that it is no straight forward. Other than that - Great!

The temp controlled unit was great the first day of move in. however the kiosk stated that I would get the first two months at half off which is to say the least, misleading. The half off comes from the unit itself. There are mandatory fees that are also applied here. There are security fees for the cams they have up and then there is a mandatory insurance that must be acquired. The 50% off is not applied to this making the building for the first two months the same as competition. But then afterward the unit is back to full price which makes this unit overpriced. I also had an issue the second trip there. The door closest to my unit (only 1 unit between) wouldn't open. I tried calling someone but with no service to answer the call, I was forced to walk half of the building with all my belongings. (This is the cause for three stars) I called to inquire about the billing issue and also asked for maintenance to fix the door. Still 4 weeks later the door doesn't function.

I will recommend 10 Federal Storage to everyone I know. We are moving due to new jobs, and I looked at a lot of other storage companies. I went with 10 federal because they were the only ones that had an affordable monthly rate, and the half off for the first 2 months had me sold. They are a great company, and the facilities are very clean and safe. Also, the customer service representatives are very kind and knowledgeable.
